What sizes do your marquee letters come in?
Our marquee letters are available in 36-inch and 48-inch heights. The 36-inch size is ideal for indoor events, photo backdrops, and spaces with lower ceilings. The 48-inch size is our most popular for large events, outdoor use, and anywhere you need maximum visual impact. We also fabricate custom sizes for commercial and architectural installations.
What is the difference between event stand-up signs and rental inventory packages?
Event stand-up signs are individual letters and symbols designed for single-event use — weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and similar occasions. Rental inventory packages are complete business-in-a-box sets designed for entrepreneurs who want to start or grow a marquee letter rental business. The rental packages include a full alphabet, numbers, symbols, and everything needed to service multiple clients.
How much does a marquee letter rental business package cost?
Our rental inventory packages start at $12,500 for the smallest package and can range up to $35,000 or more depending on the size and scope of the inventory. Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. We ship marquee letters and signs across the United States. Larger items like 48-inch letters and full rental inventory packages ship via freight. Smaller items ship via standard carriers. Lead times vary by product — custom fabricated items typically take 4-8 weeks and rental packages approx 14 weeks.
What is your refund policy?
Because every Vintage Marquee Lights order is built, prepared, or produced specifically for each customer, all sign orders are non-refundable once production or order processing has begun. This includes custom fabricated signs, wall-hanging letters, 3D layered signs, mobile vendor signs, event-style letters, and rental inventory packages. Custom fabricated sign customers review and approve the production design before fabrication begins, including the general layout, size, colors, and sign details. Event letters and rental inventory packages are produced or reserved based on the customer's selected size, package, letters, colors, upgrades, and shipping method. Once an order has been approved, produced, or placed into the production process, it cannot be returned or refunded simply because the customer changes their mind, decides they would have preferred a different size, color, letter set, package, style, or no longer needs the signs. That said, we are easy to work with and want every customer to feel taken care of. If something is wrong, damaged, missing, or needs attention, we will review the issue and work with the customer on a practical solution whenever possible.
What should I do when my sign is delivered?
Please inspect your shipment carefully when it arrives and before signing off on delivery whenever possible. Take clear photos and videos of the packaging, pallet, box, crate, and the sign itself during delivery and unpacking. If there is visible damage to the packaging, or if you suspect the sign may have been damaged during shipping, document everything immediately. Freight and shipping insurance claims require proof, and the more photos and videos we have, the better chance we have of resolving the claim successfully. Please keep all packaging materials until the sign has been fully inspected. If damage is found, contact Vintage Marquee Lights as soon as possible with photos, videos, and a description of the issue so we can help start the claim process and determine the best next steps.
Can you make custom shapes and logos?
Yes. Our 3D layered logo signs and custom wall-hanging signs are fully custom fabricated to your specifications. We can reproduce logos, brand marks, custom shapes, and dimensional lettering in any font. These are popular for restaurants, bars, hotels, retail stores, and corporate offices.
What are wall-hanging marquee signs used for?
Wall-hanging marquee signs are permanent or semi-permanent installations designed for businesses, restaurants, hotels, event venues, and residential spaces. They are mounted directly to a wall and wired for power. Common uses include restaurant branding, hotel lobby signage, bar and nightclub decor, and home entertainment rooms.
Are your signs suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, our signs can be used indoors or outdoors. If using custom signs outdoors they will continue to rust and patina over time, but that's the look most people are going for. If you want to keep them looking new, we suggest a powder coating upgrade. The event stand-up letters and rental inventory package letters are powder coated steel and can be used indoors or out, but we do not recommend leaving them plugged in during rainy weather.
What are mobile vendor signs?
Mobile vendor signs are custom marquee-style signs designed for food trucks, trailers, carts, and mobile businesses. They are built to be lightweight, durable, and visually striking so your business stands out at markets, festivals, and events. They can be mounted to the exterior of your vehicle or trailer and are a major driver of impulse traffic and social media attention.
